Your website is considered to have expired when the date for renewal elapses without your payment being made to renew your plan.

If that happens, your website will no longer be accessible on the Internet. Visitors to your website will no longer be able to access it. If you’re on our Starter Plan or you own your own domain name, you will see a message informing you that the site is no longer available.

If you’re on the Grow, Launch or Sell Plan and your domain was purchased by us, your domain name will expire at the same time as your plan and visitors to your site will see a parked page from the international registrars showing that the domain has expired.

Any other services connected to your plan, like email accounts will also stop functioning. We do recommend renewing your plan before it expires because if your domain name expires, it is not always possible to renew the same domain after some amount of time elapses (usually under 30 days.)
